Select Options >> Reading >> Front page. Click the radio button next to “a static page.” The front page drop down list will include all of the pages you have currently created. Select the page you want to be your home page and click the “Update Options” button.
Select the image in your editing area and click the “Insert/edit image” icon on the menu.
A popup window with your image’s information will appear. You will edit the last two fields called “Horizontal space” and “Vertical space.” Insert a number from 3 – 10 in these boxes. A good number to use is 6. When you’re done, don’t forget get to click the “Insert image” button to update the image’s properties. Feel free to experiment with different numbers to determine what’s right for you.
